- Your life will be full of endless problems
Your life will be full of endless problems
But there's good news ...

It doesn’t matter where you live.
It doesn’t matter how old you are.
It doesn’t matter how rich you are.
You will be faced with an unlimited amount of problems.
And there is nothing you can do to stop that.
But, there is some hope …
Firstly, it is important to understand that there are good problems. and there are bad problems.
Or to be more specific, the same problem can be both good and bad.
I want you to take a look at the following list of problems and think about whether they are good or bad. And why.
I’m so tired I can barely stay awake from watching Netflix until 4am
I’m so tired and can barely stay awake because I spent 10 hours working
I’m so bloated and can’t move because I just ate 4 Big Macs
I’m so hungry and can’t move because I just ran a marathon
Numbers 1 & 2 are the EXACT same problem.
The causes are vastly different, the problem is the same, and the results are vastly different.
Numbers 3 & 4 are the EXACT same problem.
The causes are vastly different, the problem is the same, and the results are vastly different.
I call this ‘The Problem Gap’.
One problem can have an infinite number of causes.
Productive causes, or unproductive causes.
Healthy causes, or unhealthy causes.
Good causes, or bad causes.
It doesn’t matter.
The problem will be the same.
Because of the different causes, the results will also be different.
Productice results, or unproductive results.
Healthy results, or unhealthy results.
Good results, or bad results.
The Problem Gap can be explained in 2 sexy lines.
Do bad things, face shitty problems, get bad results.
Do good things, face shitty problems, get good results.
So … if you’re going to face the same shitty problems either way,
Why not face them for a good reason.
Every time you make a decision, you have two choices.
Stay comfortable and choose the easy option
Struggle and choose the difficult option
Both of these choices will lead to the exact same problems.
But the results will be vastly different.
So stop taking the easy road.
Stop being so fking comfortable.
Yes, it will suck.
But it’s gonna suck just as much, in fact probably more, taking the easy option.
So I challenge you.
For the next 7 days, whenever you are faced with a decision …
Choose the hard route.
Take the stairs, not the escalator.
Eat a carrot, not a chocolate bar.
Read a book, don’t watch Netflix.
Face your problems the right way.
Speak soon,
Chris
