The Hardest Part About Twitter
How to blast past 200 followers in 2 weeks

When you look at an account with 100,000 followers it’s hard not to think “wow they’re so smart, successful and amazing.”
But they all started out with 0 followers.
I guarantee you, they will tell you that the first 200 followers are the hardest.
In this newsletter, I will share with you the strategy I used to fly past 200 in under 2 weeks.
The bigger your personal brand the more money you make, the more time you save, and the more freedom you will have.
Unfortunately,
Most people fail to implement a growth strategy early on and just Tweet into the wilderness.
No wonder 99% of small creators give up before they have any success.
You better not do the same,
I’ll be watching…

Don’t Make These Mistakes
There are 4 main reasons that small accounts struggle to grow.
No strategy
Poor positioning
Lack of networking
Staying consistent
But you’re in luck,
In less than 5 minutes, you’ll learn how to overcome all these problems, and grow your account in no time.
Here’s how, step by step:
Develop a Strategy by Modifying Successful Ones
I’ll say this now so you don’t forgot,
If you don’t have a plan, YOU WILL FAIL.
Why do you need a plan:
Saves time
More likely to succeed
Helps you utilise your resources effectively
Without a plan you’ll end up:
Wasting time
Feeling lost
Struggle to succeed
The good news is, creating a good strategy for Twitter growth is easy. Loads of people have done it before you, and the same things work for everyone.
The successful people all do the same thing, they just do it better than you.
You will need an effective:
Content strategy
Ideation strategy
Networking strategy
Engagement Strategy
I told you, it’s really bloody easy.
Step 1: Devise a Content Strategy
Content Strategy is what kind of content you will be posting on Twitter.
You can’t just post random shit and expect to blow up,
You need a plan.
I use a very simple content strategy:
1 Inspirational Tweet (transformation, motivation, etc.)
1 Value Tweet (thread, knowledge, tips, experience, etc.)
1 Personality Tweet (personal story, opinions etc.
Every single day, I will post a tweet which covers these 3 pillars.
If I want to post more, then I will,
But this seems to work well for me.
Step 2: Create an Endless Idea Generating System
Most small creators never have enough to say and end up repeating themselves all the time.
Or they just copy what everyone else says.
You will never grow like this,
You need to stand out with your own ideas.
I use various methods to come up with endless content ideas.
ChatGPT
Newsletter Base
The 2-Year Test
The ChatGPT Method
It’s pretty simple.
I download my Twitter analytics data for the last 28 days.
I sort the list by profile views.
I use GPT to summarize the top 10 tweets into ideas.
I tweet about those ideas more over the next month
The Newsletter Base Method
This one’s even easier.
Every newsletter I write, gives me 10+ tweets to write about.
For example,
I can get 3 separate tweets about the GPT method, the newsletter method, and the 2-year test method.
Easy peasy.
The 2-Year Test
This is my favourite because it’s the most creative.
I make a list of all the challenges I’ve faced over the last 2 years.
And write about how I got through them.
Relatable, enjoyable, easy.
Step 3: Network Like an Animal
The more you network, the faster you’ll grow.
Let’s say you send 500 DM’s everyday (please don’t you’ll get shadowbanned),
You’re gonna get a lot more eyes on your account.
I like to send 10/15 genuine DM’s everyday.
This means giving people genuine compliments and trying to make a friendship.
A lot of people just ask for a follow for follow.
This is short-term success.
It won’t give you high quality, engaged followers.
So,
Make friends and I promise you,
You will grow.
Step 4: Engage at the right times, with the right people
There’s a lot of rubbish out there about engaging a million times a day.
This just isn’t necessary.
You just need to have an engagement strategy.
I have 3 engagement lists:
Big Boy List (10 people with 100k + followers)
Medium Men List (10 people with 5k - 100k followers)
Little Lad List (30 people with 0-1k followers)
Every single day I go through these lists,
And engage with the ones I like.
This will get a tonne of eyes on you,
And if you have a clean looking profile,
You’ll get a tonne of followers.
Btw, do not spam the bigger creators, they will get annoyed.
Remember, you don’t have to re-invent the wheel to grow on Twitter.
Everything I do,
And have explained in this newsletter is based off the strategies of 3 of my favourite creators.
As always, please reply to this email or send me any questions you have over on Twitter. I’d be happy to answer them,
Who knows maybe next week’s newsletter will have all the answers you need.
Speak soon,
