My life completely changed
A secret tip to a life of success

In 2021 I was in my third and final year of university, and to be honest, my life was pretty good.
I was living in a house with my two best friends.
My girlfriend lived a 3-minute walk away.
And I had so much freedom and so few responsibilities.
But I knew that it wouldn’t last.
I had been applying for graduate jobs for a few months, but I hadn’t had any real luck.
Until one day, in June 2021, I received a phone call I wasn’t expecting.
It was from a company that I’d had an interview with about 6 months before.
I had assumed that I didn’t get the job and just sort of forgotten about it.
But I answered the phone and received the news I’d been waiting for what seemed like far too long.
I had secured a job at one of the world's best companies, doing something that sounded really exciting and that paid well.
But there was one catch.
I had to move to a completely different city.
Now, for context, I grew up in London and had been living in Nottingham for university.
80% of my university friends, including my girlfriend, were staying in Nottingham for another year.
And the rest of my friends were moving to London.
So I felt stuck.
I wasn’t sure what to do.
Moving to a new city where I didn’t know a single person would be really hard.
But I knew that I couldn’t pass on this job opportunity, so after a few days of thinking it over,
I accepted the job.
This was completely out of my comfort zone.
I had never done anything like this before.
My life up to that point was really comfortable.
So moving away was really scary.
But looking back on it, it was one of the best things I have ever done.
It taught me that being uncomfortable is okay.
Since then, I have taken so many more risks.
And there isn’t a single one I regret taking.
I started my first business (which failed).
I started another business (which failed).
I started this business (which is looking a hell of a lot better).
I went traveling by myself (big success).
I joined a martial arts club (so much fun).
And so much more.
Stepping out of my comfort zone has been nothing short of amazing.
So if there’s one piece of advice I would give to you, it would be:
GO FOR IT.
Whatever it is you’ve been thinking of doing.
Just do it.
If it isn’t a success, you’ll learn from it.
And if it is, well then you’ll have me to thank ;)
